Mike attended Fairview Elementary, Robinson High School, and Radford University. After graduating from Radford with a business degree, he earned an advanced degree in computer programming. He spent the next 18 years in the telecommunications industry working as a multi-national account manager for McDonnell Douglas, MCI, and AT&T.

Mike resides in Fairfax Station with his wife of 20+ years and his three children. His son attended Old Dominion University on a baseball scholarship, and his oldest daughter plays field hockey at Monmouth University and his youngest attends South County High School. To this day, Mike still snags a few days off here & there so he can go bow hunting and fishing.
