You want to keep your property looking its best, no matter what the time of year. But chances are, you might not know which landscape maintenance services in Alexandria, Arlington, and Springfield, VA need to be performed and at what times of the year.

Though there’s certainly some overlap, many of the services being performed do have a certain timeline in which they must be completed in order to be effective.

To help keep it simple for you, we’ve rounded up a complete landscape maintenance checklist that includes all of the essential landscape maintenance services that should be performed in order to keep your property in tip-top shape all year-round.

Annual Landscape Maintenance Checklist

Since we know you might be looking to understand what services should be performed each month, we’ve put together an easy-to-follow calendar for your convenience. Let us walk you through the year and help get you on your way to the property you desire.

Of course, keep in mind that we know some of our clients tackle some of these tasks on their own. That’s why at Kingstowne, we can create customized landscape maintenance plans which only include those services that you don’t want to (or don’t have the time to) do yourself.

But for the purposes of this article, we’ll include all tasks that should be performed each month.

A note before you get any further: We want to point out that we recognize you might be reading this article at any given time of year and if you haven’t already had these tasks performed, you might be behind.

That’s okay!

A professional can help catch you up and get your property back on track, even if you’ve missed some of the maintenance tasks we’re going to cover. However, along with “catching up,” comes realistic expectations. There are certain services that results may be diminished if not at the ideal time.

But that’s certainly not an excuse for not making an effort! Some results are better than none. A pro can get you as close to being on track as possible and then next year you can ensure that nothing is missed.

Working with Professional Landscape Maintenance Services

Keeping your property looking its best year-round is not a simple feat. As you can see, there are a lot of different tasks that go into the annual maintenance calendar in order to ensure that not a single detail is missed.

We recognize that this is a lot for homeowners to tackle on their own, which is why you might be thinking about turning to a professional to help. After all, you are busy and your free time is precious. The last thing that you want is to have to worry about these landscape maintenance tasks when you could be spending weekends with your friends and family.

One of the biggest benefits of handing these tasks over to a professional is that it takes the burden off of you. Not only do you have to no longer worry about finding the time, but you’ll also have the peace of mind that everything is being performed when it’s supposed to. Some of these services (such as fertilization or weed control) have a very specific timeline to them which cannot be missed in order for these tasks to be effective.

But when you hand those services over to a pro, that’s no longer your worry.

This will free up your time, eliminate your burdens, and provide you with the peace of mind that your property is truly going to look its best.

If you're ready to get your property in the best shape possible, then hand over your lawn and landscape services to a company that can handle it all, request a maintenance quote, and relax knowing that you’re getting the royal treatment.
